As the sun shines bright today, I am reminded that it is getting close to Spring and time to start making some new dresses for 2012. I would love to sale out of my current dresses and hope you will look around!

I am not taking orders and making specific sizes, but will try to make different sizes to hopefully match your special girl.

A very dear group of women recently brought me this bundle of hand-knitted/crocheted, not sure which one but, beautifully made scarves.

Summer Goal NEWS!

Hi everyone! Summer is over and Fall is here! As you know it was our goal to raise $1,000 before Fall...and guess how much we have raised.....

Wow! It is so much fun to be a part of God's work!
I am so thankful to each one of you for giving, praying, donating, and making a dress. I can't wait to send our first shipment of dresses to Ethiopia, and send our first monetary donation to Samaritan's Purse for feeding the hungry children!!

I have five more summer dresses I will be posting soon, PLUS I am hoping to find some time to make some cute HOLIDAY dresses!

I really needed some help promoting Dress to Bless, so I have been asking people to pray for God to lead and guide. And He answered!

East Texas Baptist University did a write up for Dress to Bless on Tiger Pride! You can read the article here. I am so thankful because that will help get the word out to more and more people.

Please continue to help spread the word about this ministry. Please pray for God to use these dresses for kingdom purposes. AND LET US PRAISE OUR GOD for his movement and work!

**Don't forget--you can also buy a dress for an Ethiopian girl that ETBU will distribute on their many trips!

Exciting News!

I am so excited to share how God is working through Dress to Bless. I recently learned that the university that Jeremy and I graduated from, East Texas Baptist University, will be making two or three trips a year to Ethiopia!
During their travels the President of ETBU, Dr. Dub Oliver, said that he would take and give out any dresses that we wanted to send!

SO, you remember the DOUBLE BLESSING DEAL we just started? That will now extend to Africa!

If you do not have a little girl to buy for, and want to be apart, you can now buy a dress for a little girl in Ethiopia! Not only will your gift clothe a child, but also feed a hungry child or nursing mother physical and spiritual nourishment for ONE MONTH!!

The Double Blessing Deal will allow you to purchase a dress for a local girl in need.
Your purchase will still feed a hungry child physical and spiritual nourishment in Africa through Samaritan's Purse AND bless a local girl!

I tried to be more detailed on size descriptions. The way these dresses are made they can tighten and loosen to fit many sizes. The length of the dress is where the size matters most. Several of you have asked for size 6/7, 7/8. They will fit that size, it just comes down to how tall the girl is you are buying for.

Hi Dress to Bless Friends!

I wanted to give a quick word of thanks to all who are supporting this ministry! So many of you have shared the word, bought a dress, given fabric, made a dress, and most importantly covered this ministry in prayer. To all of you thank you so much! I pray that you will be blessed for your efforts!

This past week felt like Christmas when a sister in Christ sent a huge box of fabric all the way from ILLINOIS! WOW! Thank you so much. The unity of the body of Christ is like none other.

Dress sales are increasing (THANKS TO YOU), so we are doing our best to whip up as many dresses as possible. I have ten more dresses cut and ready to sew, and my Mom has 5 or 6 almost ready, so keep checking our site to get FIRST pick! :) I'm telling you I received some super cute fabric and can't wait to post pictures!

This is all unchartered waters for us, so I'm sure some bumps will come along that we will have to deal with as we go, but we are opening the doors and ready to get started!
